PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Pennsylvania’s anti-hunger organizations partner with DoorDash to bring grocery cartons to seniors.

The goal is to attract more people to the Pennsylvania Senior Food Box Program.

The state says more than 300,000 seniors are eligible for free, nutritious food deliveries, but only 35,000 people have signed up.
The partnership with DoorDash was announced Thursday at the Westmoreland County Food Bank and Second Lady Giselle Fetterman was there.
