Pink supermoon illuminates evening sky over Pittsburgh – WPXI
PITTSBURGH – Monday night is going to be an amazing night for sky watchers as the moon will have a little more light and size tonight.
The pink full moon should be visible throughout our area with only a few clouds from time to time. The moon is named for the herb pink moss, which blooms in full bloom in the eastern United States in April.
Did you catch a glimpse of the pink supermoon tonight? 🌙 Fortunately there are very small clouds and it is still over 50 degrees. Here is a picture that one of our forecasters was able to take in the office: pic.twitter.com/BVPgDbVnQQ

The moon will rise over the steel city in the southeastern sky at 7:49 pm tonight. The moon is considered “full” at 11:33 PM
Temperatures should be in the upper 40s and lower 50s when the moon peaks.
