Pittsburgh-based improvement and administration firm to construct facility in River Ridge | Corporations
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – Another company is moving to the River Ridge Commerce Center in Charlestown, Indiana.
According to a press release from the River Ridge Development Authority, MR3 Development plans to build a 210,000 square foot cross-dock industrial facility on 15.4 acres.
The Pittsburgh-based development and administration company focuses on office projects in the industrial, retail, and life sciences and technology sectors. Although it has an office in Indianapolis, this will be its first launch in southern Indiana and Louisville.
Officials said the facility will “help meet increasing demand for cross-dock industrial buildings”.
There’s still no word on how many people the company could hire. Construction is expected to be completed in late autumn.
River Ridge officials said approximately $ 1.69 million in proceeds from the sale of the property will be used to support further infrastructure development and attract more businesses and jobs to the area.
