PITTSBURGH (AP) – Federal Marshals in Seattle have captured a man who is wanted in Pittsburgh for the murder of a woman.
The U.S. Marshals Task Force in Western Pennsylvania announced Thursday that 36-year-old Terrence Washington may be in Seattle. He was arrested on Stone Avenue without incident, the task force said.
Washington is wanted in Pittsburgh for the murder and firearms related to the November 10th murder of 32-year-old Makeida Thompson.
Thompson was gunned down at her home a few days before a final hearing on a Temporary Abuse Protection against Washington.
The couple had a 1 year old child.
Washington remains in custody pending extradition negotiations.
