Pittsburgh is the Metropolis of Bridges — and the Metropolis of Rain

If you’ve spent any time in Pittsburgh, you know the weather can be unpredictable, to put it lightly. In fact, the average temperature range is 62-82 degrees Fahrenheit for the month of August. But here’s a more shocking fact about Pittsburgh weather: Pittsburgh actually experiences more rainy days than Seattle.

Seattle experiences around 38 inches of rain in an average year while Pittsburgh receives around 38.3 inches on average. But wait, there’s more. Pittsburgh also averages 27.7 inches of snow accumulation in comparison to Seattle’s 4.6 inches.

Don’t forget to pack an umbrella and an ice scraper!
