FAIRVIEW, PA. – A Pittsburgh woman is charged with attempted murder and assault after police said she shot four women who assaulted her.
The incident occurred on May 19, 2021 at around 5:35 p.m.
Police responded to a ShotSpotter warning on Belleau Drive in Fineview. When they got to the scene, they spoke to women who said they were shot while driving.
Officials learned from video surveillance that Quayona Wilson, 25, from Pittsburgh, was walking down Belleau Drive and stopping at a car to take children out. When the car pulled away, a brown Hyundai Tucson was driving down the street and stopped in front of Wilson.
According to a criminal complaint, four women got out of the car and ran towards Wilson to attack them.
After kicking her head and body, they run back to the car. Wilson got up from the floor and slapped her hand against the window of the car as it drove away.
Police said Wilson then picked up a gun and fired multiple shots at the car. The driver of the car then backed up the car, turned it around, and headed straight for Wilson.
She tried to get out of the way, but her right leg was run over.
The car then drove on the sidewalk when another woman shot at it. When the driver passed Wilson on leaving the area, Wilson shot them extra laps.
It is currently unclear whether anyone else will be charged.
