Pittsburgh Police and SWAT reply to home incidents – CBS Pittsburgh
By: KDKA-TV News Staff
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Early Friday morning, Pittsburgh police officers were called to the 400 block on Alice Street for reports of gunfire.
When they were there, a woman and a man had left the house safely with no injuries reported.
Police believed that a man inside was barricaded and possibly armed.
Tactical units from SWAT and EMS were used to get the suspect out of the house.
Attempts to contact both verbally and by phone were unsuccessful, and a K9 unit entered the house after the gas hack also failed to get the suspect out of the apartment.
The police searched the house, but a suspect was not inside.
The Pittsburgh Police are investigating.
