Pittsburgh Police Bomb Squad investigates “incendiary system” thrown from car – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Penn Avenue between 35th and 40th Streets was closed for a period of time on Sunday evening when the Pittsburgh Police Fire Department and Bombing Squad investigated what they called “incendiary devices.”

They say the device was thrown from a moving vehicle and a parked car was damaged while being thrown.

The police say they are looking for a white pickup.

The incident occurred shortly after 9:00 p.m.

Police are also investigating reports of an explosion on the 200 block on Dinwiddie Street in the Hill District shortly after 10:00 p.m.

No injuries were reported.
