Pittsburgh Police Division: Baby in severe situation after being hit by a automobile in Lincoln-Lemington

A child is in serious condition after being hit by a vehicle Friday night in the Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar neighborhood of Pittsburgh, police said.

Pittsburgh public safety spokesman Maurice Matthews said the crews reacted to the 1300 block of Paulson Avenue around 8:10 p.m. where they were escorted to a boy who was sitting in the street. The child sustained a leg and head injury.

The boy was transported to the UPMC Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital.

According to the Matthews, the driver stayed on site and was cooperative during the investigation.
