Pittsburgh Police: Motorcyclist dies on East Carson Avenue after crashing South Aspect

A male motorcyclist was killed in an accident on the south side of Pittsburgh Tuesday night, according to city public safety officials.

Shortly after 9 p.m., rescue workers were called to East Carson and 11th Street to report a collision between a motorcycle and an unspecified vehicle.

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital in critical condition, where he later died.

The city’s Collision Investigation Unit is investigating the scene. The victim was not immediately identified.
