Pittsburgh space Greenback Common coping with mouse infestation – WPXI

PITTSBURGH – The Dollar General on Main Street in Sharpsburg has been infected with mice, according to the Allegheny County Health Department.

The consumer warning was released on Thursday.

Mouse droppings were found on the floor throughout the rear storage room and on several mobile storage carts.

The report states that there is evidence of gnawing and possible nesting opportunities. Mouse droppings were strewn on food shelves, pet food shelves, and laundry shelves.

Lots of mouse droppings are mixed with loose pet food on the shelves and there was mouse droppings in the ladies room and strewn on the floor next to shelves along the walls.

Once the infestation has been resolved, the health department’s website will be updated.
