Jeff Reinebold told NFL Overtime he was concerned for the Pittsburgh Steelers after suffering two losses
Jeff Reinebold says there are “Pittsburgh concerns” after the Steelers suffered two defeats after an unbeaten 11-0 start to the season.
Following Pittsburgh’s 26:15 loss to the Buffalo Bills, who ousted them from the AFC’s No. 1, Reinebold said the team’s lack of running play and schedule for the final three weeks of the season were worrying.
The Steelers own the second worst assault in the league, averaging just 89.1 meters per game, as they end the season on their way to division opponents Cincinnati Bengals (2-10-1) and Cleveland Browns (9-4) on either side of the home game against the Indianapolis Colts (9-4).
“The thing that would concern me if I was a Steelers fan – look at their future schedule. This team has a chance of losing four of their last five games,” Reinebold told NFL Overtime (Tuesdays, 21 clock).

“They’ll be a playoff team but they have a tough schedule.
“”[Running back] James Conner came back on Sunday, Maurkice Pouncey was back in the center and yet they didn’t run the ball as well as they’ll need in the playoffs.
“There are concerns in Pittsburgh. That defense is also getting a bit beaten up.”
“Pain gives Eagles reason to believe”
Over in the NFC, the Philadelphia Eagles are currently out of the playoff picture with a hugely disappointing 4-8-1 on the season, but their offensive started last Sunday with rookie quarterback Jalen Hurts taking the team to victory over the season led New Orleans Saints in its first NFL start.

Jeff Reinebold tells NFL Overtime that rookie quarterback Jalen Hurts squirted some juice on the Philadelphia Eagles offensive after his first NFL start
Despite their disappointing record, the Eagles have not been eliminated from the race for the NFC East Division. They’re just a game and a half ahead of the current Washington Football team leader they face on the final weekend of the season.
“He [Hurts] injected some juice into a crime that was really stagnant and needed some faith and someone to make a game for them, “said Reinebold.
Hurts completed 17 of 30 passes for 167 yards and a touchdown, but also rushed down the ground for 106 yards – Lamar Jackson is the only QB to have done more (119) on his first NFL start.
“He has the athleticism that if you don’t properly fill the gaps in defense, he’ll hurt you,” added Reinebold.
“He’s a ray of sunshine to the Eagles, reason to believe, and it doesn’t affect them at NFC East.”
