Pittsburgh Steelers signal security Arthur Maulet
PITTSBURGH – The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed Arthur Maulet for a year, the team announced on Friday.
The 27-year-old Maulet has played with the New York Jets for the past two seasons, playing in 23 games and starting 11 of them. In 11 games last season, including five starts, he recorded 23 tackles, one sack and one interception.
Maulet entered the NFL in 2017 as a vacant rookie from Memphis and signed with the New Orleans Saints. He spent time with the Saints and Indianapolis Colts in 2018 before signing a reserve / future deal with the Jets.
He has played 34 games, starting at 12, and has completed 83 tackles, two sacks, seven defensive passes, two interceptions, and a fiddly recovery.
