PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – JuJu Smith-Schuster, the recipient of Pittsburgh Steelers, made some local families smile on Tuesday.

He paid $ 12,500 in remaining balance at the Burlington store in Pittsburgh, according to a press release. Smith-Schuster and his foundation have partnered with Pay Away the Layaway to make this possible.

The good deed came as a surprise to the 88 families affected.

“This has been a particularly difficult year for so many families. Our mission at Pay Away the Layaway is to inspire hope and spread friendliness. So what better way to start the holiday season than surprising these families with the gifts they had for their children? “Pay Away said Layaway founder Lee Karchawer in a press release. “Every child deserves to smile at Christmas.”
