PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – State Police issued 11 warnings and four notices of violations after visiting companies in the Pittsburgh area to ensure they were complying with COVID-19 restrictions.

State Police Liquor Control Enforcement officers visited 1,020 facilities across the state Monday through Thursday, issuing 12 reports of violations and 29 warnings.

The unannounced compliance reviews ensure that companies are tracking efforts to mitigate the coronavirus, such as: B. wearing masks, social distancing and limited occupancy.

The Pittsburgh Enforcement Office police visited 180 companies and issued 11 warnings and four reports of violations.

Bars and restaurants that have reported a violation are not named because they are being investigated. Each Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement office publishes details of citations later this month.

A notification of a violation is given before an administrative quote, according to the police, and is intended to inform the institutions which violations have been found. State Police say violations may face an administrative quote, and continued violations jeopardize a company’s alcohol licensing.

If you have a complaint about a licensed facility that is not in compliance with the coronavirus mandates, you can call 1-800-932-0602 or file a complaint online.
