PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police have closed a three-block radius of a parking garage at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital for reports of a suspicious package, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety.

Pedestrians and drivers should avoid 3500 Block on Terrace Street in Oakland.

In a tweet on Thursday, public safety urged pedestrians and motorists to avoid the area.
“The police cordoned off a 3-block radius of a parking garage at @UPMC Presby for reporting a suspicious package,” tweeted Public Safety. “Updates will be provided.”
