Police said the suspect fired a shot at a vehicle on Route 28. The vehicle was hit, but the driver was not injured.

“The guy was being followed by the police and I saw the car in the mirror behind me,” the driver told KDKA’s Royce Jones. “I didn’t know he was being followed. I switched lane to the right lane as he drove past me. Then there was a loud bang, I thought my tire had burst. Then I heard the second loud bang and thought it was a shot. I hit my brakes and he zoomed past me. “
