PWSA is canceling sink and cooking cautions for a number of western Pittsburgh neighborhoods – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – PWSA canceled a precautionary dishwashing and cooking recommendation for several western parts of Pittsburgh on Sunday.
The following neighborhoods now have clean water to drink:

- Crafton Heights
- Duquesne Heights
- Elliott
- Mount Washington
- Ridgemont
- West end
- Westwood
The agency said they tested the water and found no evidence of contamination.
People who haven’t used their tap water for a few days should run their faucet for a full minute before using it for cooking or drinking, says PWSA.
The notice was originally issued after a 16-inch water line interruption occurred on Grace Street Friday night.
