Retired KDKA TV presenter Stacy Smith receives the NATAS Mid-Atlantic Board of Governors Award 2021 – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Recently retired presenter Stacy Smith will receive the NATAS Mid-Atlantic Board of Governors Award 2021.

The award honors people with significant and long-standing careers in broadcasting.

Former KDKA TV presenter Patrice King Brown and Fred Rogers have received the award in the past.

Stacy retired from the station late last month after 38 years at KDKA-TV and a total of 50 years in the broadcasting industry.

Another long-standing and recently retired presenter and reporter at KDKA-TV is also honored.

Brenda Waters, who retired from KDKA-TV last May, will be among the 2021 classes inducted into the Silver Circle Society of the Mid-Atlantic Emmy Chapter.

The Silver Circle recognizes people for outstanding service in broadcasting for at least 25 years, with most of that time spent in the Mid-Atlantic Chapter.

The seasoned reporters and presenters will be honored at the Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards in September 2021.
