El Dorado Rotary Club’s new President Issac McNary presented a plaque to Major Patricia Johnson to commemorate her year of service for the El Dorado Rotary Club as President for 2020-2021.
After five years in El Dorado, Johnson was transferred to the Pittsburgh Salvation Army, where she eventually plans to join a Rotary club in Pittsburgh. Johnson said her favorite project with the El Dorado Club is providing dictionaries for third grade students. “
We couldn’t go to schools that year so we just had to drop them, ”said Johnson. “The students sent us little notes,” said Johnson. “They make cards to say thank you.”
