Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT announces lane restrictions at Squirrel Hill Tunnel (I-376 Parkway East) in the city of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, due tonight, Friday evening January 22nd.
Single lane restrictions will occur in both directions of the Squirrel Hill Tunnel as needed from 7:30 p.m. Friday evening to 5:30 a.m. Saturday morning as crews perform maintenance on the tunnel control system. The lighting in the tunnel is reduced. Drivers should be careful when driving through the tunnel.
Motorists can check conditions for more than 40,000 miles of road, including color-coded winter conditions for 2,900 miles, at www.511PA.com. 511PA is free and available 24/7.
