Sidney Crosby of Pittsburgh Penguins is a finalist for the Ted Lindsay Award – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby is one of three players in the running for the Ted Lindsay Award, which is presented annually to “the most outstanding player in the NHL”.

Crosby joins Edmonton’s Connor McDavid and Toronto’s Auston Matthews as finalists for the award. It is elected every year by members of the NHL Players Association.

Crosby has already received three Ted Lindsay Awards, and if he snaps it, he will be the only player in NHL history to receive four or more awards alongside Mario Lemieux and Wayne Gretzky.
