PITTSBURGH – Small music venues continue to struggle and a program to help is not working.
Channel 11’s messaging partners at TribLIVE said the Small Business Association’s website, where venues can apply for funding, should launch on April 8th. However, due to technical problems, it is not operational.

The Shuttered Venue Operators Grant Program was established after the Save Our Stages Act was passed. It includes more than $ 16 billion in grants.
Brian Drusky, owner of Pittsburgh concert promoter Drusky Entertainment, told TribLIVE that not a single company was able to apply for the federal aid.
The Small Business Administration has announced that it will open the portal for applications by the end of this week.
