Spirit says cancellations are expected to decline in the next few days, but five days have passed and there are no local changes.

According to the airline, they focus on cancellations where passengers have other options.

Almost 20 flights between Pittsburgh International Airport and Arnold Palmer Regional Airport have been canceled.

Spirit Airlines announced an apology, stating that the delays were due to staff shortages, weather and system failures. But they say Thursday cancellations should be less.

Arnold Palmer Airport feels that it has been handled well despite delays and cancellations.
