PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A grocery store in Squirrel Hill has been hit by a consumer alert about multiple health violations.

Allegheny County Health Department released the warning for New Young’s oriental grocery store on Forward Avenue on Thursday.

Although the shop is not allowed, the inspection report states that food was prepared on site.

In a walk-in cooler, says an inspector, there were kimchi, cucumbers and other foods that could not be identified because of mold. Inspectors say mouse droppings were found on the cooler floor as well.

The inspection report lists dozens of other violations.
