Best Bites Pittsburgh is back and you shouldn’t miss the chance to take your taste buds on a tour! This event includes tastings at a variety of restaurants in downtown Pittsburgh. Each featured restaurant offers its best bite with custom cocktail stations along the way. It’s your chance to fall in love with everything the city has to offer. For those who are traveling to the event and want a “stay in the city”, the Industrialist Hotel is offering attendees a special hotel rate.

Large tasting ticket

For just $ 60, this ticket includes all Best Bites food and drink tastings at 15 restaurants and drink stops along the tour. Only 300 tickets are on sale so don’t miss out, they are selling fast!

Event details

  • Enjoy a day of tastings at 15 restaurants in downtown Pittsburgh.
  • In addition to the canapés along the way, guests will receive special drink samples at the specified cocktail spots along the tour, as well as a full drink at one of the stops!
  • Buy tickets by October 12th to receive the ticket package in the mail. Packages include an official ticket lanyard to wear on the tour, a restaurant menu, starting point assignments, and tasting instructions.
  • The guests are assigned different restaurant starting points in small groups, e.g. when purchasing).
  • Restaurants on the tour are marked with sidewalk signs and balloons. Guests present their lanyards for a tasting at each stop.
  • After a day of tasting, guests vote for the best bite and tasting experience. The winners will be awarded.

Alihan’s Mediterranean cuisine

ALihan’s Mediterranean Cuisine is a family run restaurant serving the best of Turkish cuisine in downtown Pittsburgh. They have curated homemade meals from handpicked ingredients and promise that the quality of the meal does not contain any processed items or preservatives. The menu is a range of Turkish dishes as well as Greek, Italian and Middle Eastern influences. Alihan’s gives you the opportunity to experience traditional cuisine without traveling.

Allegheny HYP Club

The Allegheny HYP Club has existed since 1930 and is now the cumulative amalgamation of three leading clubs that have shaped Pittsburgh: the Harvard Yale Princeton Club, the Pittsburgh Club and the Allegheny Club. Fogo de Chao is best known for its Brazilian-inspired small plates and award-winning wines and cocktails. The founders of Fogo de Chão started out in their hometown of Serra Gaucha. There they learned to cook according to the churrasco grill tradition. They worked hard to perfect their craft and started opening restaurants. They made their first debut in the US, in Dallas, and, to our delight, expanded to here in Downtown Pittsburgh!

Harris Grill

Harris Grill is known for its unique and trendy atmosphere. It’s the right place to have a drink and good food. The menu offers something for everyone, inclusive and adaptable to all dietary requirements. As for the drinks menu, they promise: something fresh, fruity, frothy or funky in a frosty glass that is waiting for you. “

The Milkshake Factory is the trustworthy source for every Yinzer when he is in the mood for something sweet.
