The Pittsburgh Police Chief fulfills the duty to go to all 90 parishes within the metropolis – WPXI
PITTSBURGH – There are 90 neighborhoods in the city of Pittsburgh. How many have you been?
Scott Schubert, the Pittsburgh police chief, was with all 90 of them.
“Even though I’ve completed 90 communities, I’m not done yet. I’ll just keep doing it. It means so much to me and our organization, ”said Scott Schubert, Pittsburgh Police Chief.
In the fall, Chef Schubert made a decision and an obligation.

And on the first day of spring he fulfilled that obligation.
He spent about three hours in each neighborhood and accumulated about 600 miles.
Chief Schubert says it’s all about community police and building relationships.
“It was something that meant a lot to me. It meant. They know that as the police, we are separate from the church and the church is separate from us. So when you’re not available and learning from people, you get a whole new perspective on the community, ”said Chief Schubert.
Not only did he talk to countless people about their concerns, but he also documented his trip.
