ST. LOUIS – Once again, statistical analysis suggests that St. Louis should be high on the list of youngest graduates deciding where to work after college.
Porch researchers analyzed data from the U.S. Census Bureau, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the Bureau of Economic Analysis and created a composite score based on the following pre-pandemic data: Average income of youngest graduates ($ 40,000 in St. Louis ), Unemployment rate of the youngest graduates (1.8%), number of employing companies per 1,000 population (26.1), concentration of youngest graduates compared to the national average (-2.2%), median rent for a bedroom (783 USD ) and cost of living compared to the national average (-9.9%).
Only Pittsburgh achieved higher results. Kansas City finished eighth.
