MCKEESPORT (KDKA) – More than a year in the COVID-19 pandemic and the need for food in our region is still great.

On Saturday, the First Open Bible Church at McKeesport came forward to help the ward.

The Church says they feed more than 900 families every weekend and have always tried to meet the needs.
“This is just something I like to do, I’ve been doing it for over 21 years and the Lord finally gave me my own food service last year,” said Althea Warman, a volunteer.

The church sources its food from its partnership with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
