The transit food distribution is scheduled for Tuesday at Pittsburgh Mills
The Allegheny Valley Association of Churches and the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank are hosting a drive-through food distribution for the needy in the back lot near Dick Sporting Goods at the Galleria in Pittsburgh Mills, Frazer, Tuesday from 4pm to 6pm. The line-up begins at 5 p.m.
Reservations are required to ensure there is enough groceries available. To make a reservation, visit pittsburghfoodbank.org/drive-up or call 412-460-3663 ext 655 until 5:00 p.m. Monday. Have the license plate number of the car you are in at the event, name, email address, zip code, date of birth and current weekly income ready. Bring your confirmation page or email for your reservation to the event.
People must stay in their vehicle except to use the outside toilets provided. After driving into the distribution area, recipients should park their car and unlock the trunk or back seat for the groceries to be loaded.

Volunteers needed Saturday to clean up
The Kiski Watershed Association will be cleaning up parks on River Road on Saturday from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm
Volunteers are welcome and should meet at 9:30 am at 2687 River Road. Wear old clothes and shoes that can get dirty. Orange vests, gloves and garbage bags are provided. This is street cleaning and may not be suitable for children.
