Audition for the production of the musical ‘The Addams Family’ in July
The Armstrong Community Theater will audition the upcoming production of the musical “The Addams Family” from 10 am to 2 pm on May 8th at the Worthington Civic Center, Building B, 214 E. Main St., Worthington.
The show will take place on July 16, 17 and 18 at the Casino Theater in Vandergrift. For the audition, prepare a short section of the song to play and accompany on CD or a music player with an aux cable / headphone jack. A short dance is taught and auditioned with a small group of others, and you may be asked to read from the script. Face masks are required during foreplay.

Drive-through grocery delivery on the Lernerville Speedway
The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank will host a drive-through food distribution for those in need on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Lernerville Speedway, 313 N. Pike Road, Buffalo Township. Cars are not allowed to arrive before 11am
Reservations are required to ensure enough groceries are available and fill up quickly. To make a reservation, visit pittsburghfoodbank.org/get-help/drive-up or call 412-460-3663 ext 655. Keep your license plate number of the car you are in at the event, name, E-mail address, zip code, date of birth and the current weekly income ready. Bring your confirmation page or email for your reservation to the event. No proof of eligibility is required and everyone is entitled to food.
Individuals must stay in their vehicle. After driving into the distribution area, recipients should park their car and unlock the trunk or back seat for the groceries to be loaded.
Allegheny Valley Hospital offers scholarships to medical students
The medical staff at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Harrison is offering two $ 2,500 medical scholarships to students enrolled in an accredited medical or osteopathic school in the United States.
Applicants must be based in Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler, or Westmoreland counties and have not previously received an AVH Medical Scholarship Grant.
A letter must be submitted to apply for a scholarship exam explaining why he / she should receive the grant. In addition, applicants are required to provide a letter from their educational institution stating that they have a good reputation. There is no other application form than the letters.
