On Thursday, the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust announced plans and headliners for the 2021 Three Rivers Arts Festival. It will be a hybrid format, with a mix of personal and virtual events.

“This year’s Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival shows off the cultural district. The doors of our galleries, theaters and venues are open for the first time in more than a year, and we couldn’t be more excited, ”said Sarah Aziz, festival program manager for the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.

The Three Rivers Arts Fest will be a hybrid event this year. Events are both live and streamed. To get to a live event, you need to fill out a health questionnaire and download an app on your phone.

The festival will have a smaller footprint this year. Everything will be in the cultural district. There’s nothing in Point State Park or the Gateway Center with the main stage at the Byham Theater.

Tickets for events on the main stage will be available from May 20th and must attend. You can find out more here.
