Troy Polamalu elects former Pittsburgh Steelers DC Dick LeBeau as Corridor of Fame Presenter

PITTSBURGH – A Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Famer will greet another in Canton, OH. The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced that Troy Polamalu has selected former defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau to be featured at the 2021 mooring ceremony.

Hall of Fame security hinted at picking LeBeau before announcing on social media. LeBeau coached Polamalu from 2004 to 2014. During their 10-year tenure, they won two Super Bowls and Polamalu brought a Defensive Player of the Year award, eight Pro Bowls and six All-Pro selections to Pittsburgh.

Polamalu is one of five Steelers to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this fall. Bill Cowher and Donnie Shell will be inducted into the 2020 class and Alan Faneca and Bill Nunn will be inducted into the 2021 class.

Hall of Fame Weekend 2021 will take place August 5-8, 2021 in Canton, Ohio. The Steelers will play the Dallas Cowboys during the Hall of Fame game after it was postponed in 2020 due to COVID-19. The 2020 class will anchor on Saturday August 7th and the 2021 class on Sunday August 8th.
