PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – On Tuesday evening, part of the outgoing route 28 was closed for almost an hour after a truck accident and a fire.

At around 6.30 p.m., a semitrailer truck and a pick-up collided near the old Heinz factory

After the collision, the van caught fire, so the lanes to the north were closed.

No casualties are currently known, but the crews were able to evacuate the scene and reopen Route 28.
