Veteran Pittsburgh TV Information persona retires

PITTSBURGH, PA – Veteran KDKA TV news anchor Stacy Smith will retire in late May, the broadcaster said on Monday. He has been with the broadcaster for 38 years and has over half a century of television news experience.

Prior to joining KDKA, Smith served as a newscaster for WDAF-TV in Kansas City, Missouri for six years. Prior to that, he worked at WHAS-AM / FM / TV in Louisville and WIFE-AM in Indianapolis. Smith began his broadcasting career in December with WLBC-AM / FM in Muncie, Indiana
