12/9/2021 4:40:20 PM GMT + 00: 00 – Dalvin Cook is set to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers Thursday night, ending him early for his return from a shoulder injury.
NFL Network reported that 10 days of intense rehabilitation got him on track with the Vikings (5-7) receiving the Steelers (6-5-1).
Cook was listed as a limited participant in Wednesday’s injury report. According to the report, he took first-team representatives into practice.

Cook was carted off the field after taking a major hit from Kevin Givens, the defensive lineman for the San Francisco 49ers, on Nov. 28. Cook held on to the left side of his chest after the hit and stayed on the ground for several minutes as medical staff and teammates surrounded him. He fumbled the ball on hit.
The 26-year-old has played nine games, won 773 yards and scored four touchdowns this season. He has exceeded 1,100 rushing yards in each of the previous two seasons.
Cook was not expected to return to activity before the December 20 game against the Chicago Bears.
The Vikings have already ruled out leading receiver Adam Thielen due to an ankle injury.
