A borough of Allegheny County has PCMag on their list of Best Work-from-Home Cities for 2021.

Turtle Creek, located 12 miles east of downtown, ranked seventh out of 60 cities in the United States and Canada.

The magazine, which includes product reviews, technical news, videos and advice, took into account factors such as broadband costs, median property prices, the number of cafes and parks per 100,000 residents and no-chain restaurants in the area.

This is what PCMag says about our city:

“Pittsburgh has become a tech-savvy, artistic city, and the eastern suburbs are some of the cheapest places to live in the area, including Turtle Creek, but also Monroeville and North Versailles. If you choose to work outside of Turtle Creek, you are only 12 miles from downtown Pittsburgh for a fraction of the cost of living in the city proper. The college town ambience is even closer to Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh, among others. Turtle Creek also has plenty of cafes and independent restaurants to choose from. “

Chattanooga, Tennessee, came first, followed by Bear Valley Springs, California, and Pawlet, Vermont.
