Wolfe was named Affiliate Dean at Pitt Bradford | promotes life-style

BRADFORD – Angie Wolfe, who has spent much of her career with and advocating for college students, has been promoted to the new Dean of Student Affairs and Experiential Learning at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.

“I believe student affairs in general require a foundation in compassion, empathy, vulnerability, and authenticity,” said Wolfe. “This sacred work requires a deep appreciation of value, the ability to connect across many differences, and the importance of coming back to this work over and over, even when it is difficult.”

Her previous roles at Pitt-Bradford included directing learning, ministering, and advocacy for leaders, as well as directing engagement in the community and the Harriett B. Wick Chapel. She also coordinated the Pitt-Bradford Academic Coaching and Tutoring Center.

Wolfe will continue to serve as an active instructor in the Pitt-Bradford Freshmen Seminar Program, yoga instructor, and weekly mindfulness meditation facilitator on campus.

Prior to joining Pitt-Bradford, she was Associate Director of the Career and Professional Readiness Center at St. Bonaventure University, where she was instrumental in initiating professional development programming for undergraduate staff, supervisors and vocational schools.

She has also served as an on-campus mental health advisor and educator, a drug and alcohol / justice advisor, and an advisor for the College Opportunities program.

She holds a Master of Science in Education in Community Counseling from St. Bonaventure University and a Bachelor of Science in German and acting from Augustana College and the University of Passau.

She lives in Kane with her husband Stephen, their two sons Jordan and John and their two dogs Harley and Sophie.
