2020 ends with considerably decrease fuel costs than late 2019 – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Gasoline prices in Western Pennsylvania are still significantly lower than they were in late 2019 as this calendar year draws to a close.
According to the AAA East Central gas price report, prices per gallon are around 40 cents cheaper than last year at this time.
The average price per gallon of gasoline for western Pennsylvania last week was $ 2.47.
For the week of December 30, 2019, the average price per gallon was $ 2.86.

According to the AAA, motorists “can expect gas prices to spike in the coming week, but they will still be cheaper than they were in late 2019.”
