AEW stars Thunder Rosa, Ricky Starks and different volunteers on the Meals Financial institution (VIDEO)

All of the elite wrestling stars Thunder Rosa, Ricky Starks, Mark Henry, and more took the time to help out a panel.

A group of All Elite wrestling stars recently flexed their benevolent muscles by helping out at a local meal in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

While AEW was in Steel City for this week’s editions of Dynamite and Rampage, some of its cast members, including Thunder Rosa, Wardlow, Jungle Boy, Mark Henry, and others, took off from their busy schedules to volunteer at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank to get involved on Thursday, August 12, 2021, according to a video on the WTAE-TV Pittsburgh YouTube Channel.

“I love volunteering,” Thunder Rosa said in the video. “I always volunteer in my local community – I’m from San Antonio – and I’m part of the outreach community, and that’s just true.

FTW Champion Ricky Starks says he sympathized with the needy growing up in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.

“My family, we didn’t have a lot to eat at one point, especially after Katrina,” said Starks. “I like doing things like that because I can identify with myself on a more personal level and I think it’s just fun to get away from the constant wrestling mode. You go from one city to the other time. “

The outing follows recent comments from AEW broadcaster and WWE Hall Of Famer Mark Henry, who said on Busted Open Radio in June that he would like to see AEW participate in more community outreach programs and charity events.

“We’re going to help the communities we visit,” said Henry. “We’re going to Miami, we’re going to Austin, the Cedar Park Center. We’re going to touch the news and let people know we’re going to support the Boys and Girls Club, we are going to support Make-A-Wish, we are going to support all charities. Here you get adults, you make sure that people are interested. Adults need to take care of this, and they want to see how people work in the communities in which they live. And that’s where I want to go, ”he added.

It’s great to see AEW giving back to the local communities.
