PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Allegheny County Health Department reports 246 new coronavirus cases and four more deaths.

According to the health department, 147 of the newly reported cases have been confirmed and 99 are probable cases.
The health department says the age of new cases is between four months and 94 years old, with an average age of 34 years.

All four reported deaths related to COVID-19 occurred in May, according to the Department of Health. One of the deaths was related to a long-term care facility. Among the deceased were two people in their fifties, one in their sixties, and one in their seventies.
There have been a total of 6,867 hospitalizations and 98,969 cases of coronavirus in Allegheny County since the pandemic began.
The nationwide death toll is 1,900.
