August 2021 Pittsburgh Delicacies: New options and coming quickly
A new month has started and you know what it means. From coffee to cocktails, smoothies to sandwiches, pizzas to pick-up food, we’re back with the latest monthly food and drink information.
First of all, I want to realize how difficult it is for the Pittsburgh restaurant and hospitality community. COVID-19 as the vaccine and summer sun seemed to brighten the future Delta variant, we’re paying attention to indoor meals.
Governor Wolf said Pennsylvania is not currently considering masking requirements, CDC recommends that everyone, including those who have been vaccinated, wear a mask indoors.
Some local restaurants such as Apteca With Bloomfield Leo.Pub When Lola Bistro on the north side, proof of vaccination is required for dietary benefits.
“First and foremost, we had to protect our neighbors. This is our number one priority, ”said owner Michael Byrne House. Pittsburgh City Paper .. Michael knows that most of his customers are neighbors. “We literally do this for the people we care about. That’s it.”

🍵 Ada coffee and tea house Surprised us all at a new location in the city center The hotel is located in the corridor of Three PNC Plaza. The shop will show up and last until the end of 2021 (luckily it will be permanent in 2022). Another Ada location is coming to the cultural quarter in autumn.
🍕 East End brows It will be East End Chew. Larimar’s popular craft brewery has opened an in-house kitchen that serves rustic, thick-crusted pizzas. The menu includes classic pies as well as unique dishes like eggplant and parmesan cheese, beetroot and of course Pierogi-inspired pizza. Pittsburgh City Paper ..
🍍 Live fresh juice Currently I offer cold-pressed juices, detergents, smoothies and bowls In a new location on Western Avenue on the North Side. (((Publisher’s Note: This shop has taken over my old yoga studio that was closed during the pandemic. That’s sad, but I’m happy that LiveFresh has a healthy option in my meal. Plus (omg!) They make their own nut butters, and it’s delicious.)

🍓 Farmer x Baker Expansion beyond the shipping container restaurant in the Allegheny River Trail Park in Aspinwall Root in the fox chapel. Food stalls, grocery stores, and manufacturing facilities are scheduled to open in September, serving fresh vegetable dishes on the same farm.

🧀 Bitter Endrai & Sharcut River It’s a stern sister shop The location of the former Nooch’s Bar. “Whiskey and meat” is on offer in a modern speakeasy atmosphere with specialty cocktails and pork chops. This location is slated to open a few months after the rear end.
🌮 Rasticus, Your favorite Pittsburgh food truck opens in Milbert, Tacos, burritos, quesadillas, etc. are brought into the actual store.
🍣 Sushi Kim restaurant I’m back in Pittsburgh After the original location closed in 2019, the new location, Sushi Kim 2, will be Smithfield Street.
