PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger isn’t just looking for members of his own team.

On Saturday he took the time to congratulate penguin captain Sidney Crosby on his 1000th regular season game tonight.

“Sid, 1,000 games, congratulations. What an amazing accomplishment, just one of your many astonishing accomplishments, ”said Roethlisberger in a recorded video the Pittsburgh Penguins posted on Twitter.
Crosby becomes the first Penguin player to play 1,000 for the team and the 25th active NHL skater to do so.
The penguins play against the New York Islanders on Saturday at 7pm.
