Division of Well being proclaims 2,778 new circumstances and 67 extra deaths – CBS Pittsburgh

HARRISBURG (KDKA) – The Pennsylvania Department of Health reports 2,778 more cases of coronavirus and 67 more deaths.

The total number of nationwide cases has risen to 908,773 since Thursday’s report.
Across the state, 2,124 people have been hospitalized with COVID-19 infections. 467 patients are in the intensive care unit.
The statewide positivity percentage for the week of February 5-11 was 8.0%, according to the Department of Health.
The nationwide death toll rose to 23,480.
There are 3,807,727 people across the state who have tested negative for the virus so far.

Figures from the state Department of Health show that 65,908 cases of COVID-19 have occurred among residents of nursing and nursing homes across Pennsylvania. 12,790 cases were diagnosed among the staff.
