Chicago Cubs beat Pittsburgh Pirates to an 11-Eight win

Cubs are one step closer to local sports betting at Wrigley Field

The Cubs still require approval from the City Council, the Illinois Gaming Board, and the National Park Service.

Frank Schwindel hit a starting grand slam, Matt Duffy homered twice, including a grand slam, and the Chicago Cubs beat the Pittsburgh Pirates with an 11-8 win.

With Chicago 8-7 with two outs and bases loaded in seventh, Dizziness hit a curveball from reliever Nick Mears in the middle of the stands to turn the game around.

Duffy also had three hits and Jason Heyward also went deep as the Cubs won their sixth straight win. Before Sunday he only had one homer.
