A new live location on Western Avenue in north Pittsburgh
When Gilliam moved to Homestead from Washington DC, he was looking for a smoothie bar in his neighborhood. After a failed search, Gilliam quit his job at the company and opened his first Live Fresh location in 2019.
“”[Gilliam] Is an absolute staple of his community – I admire his courage to take the plunge, to leave the corporate world in order to give something back to him and his community, ”says Bergett. “Living fresh is exactly what Homestead and the entire Montvalley region needed.”
Both Homestead and Northside are open 7 days a week, with happy hour Wednesdays and Fridays from 4pm to 7pm, with a $ 2 discount on all cold-pressed juices.
“Through education, we want to encourage Pittsburgh to incorporate healthier options into our daily lives,” says Bergett.
