East Stroudsburg. Pa. (AP) – A dismantled body was found in dumplings for a construction company in eastern Pennsylvania.

Workers at a company in East Stroudsburg found a woman’s body late Thursday morning to investigate the cause of the strong odor. The workers initially believed they smelled the wreckage of dead animals and searched several locations before the bodies were found, officials said.

The body lay on the bottom of the dumplings and looked like a suitcase, with a black garbage bag, mattress, and other garbage on it.

It wasn’t immediately clear how long the body was in the dumplings and how it got there. The autopsy was scheduled for Friday by the Monroe County Autopsy Department.
