ROSS TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – While some buildings continue to struggle during the pandemic, some are thriving, including a jewelry chain opening its first store in the area.

Diamonds Direct was built from the ground up on McKnight Road in Ross Township and will open on Monday.
The company’s vice president says although the coronavirus created challenges, they’ve been able to overcome it and grow.

In fact, this new business isn’t the only one they’re about to open as they have expanded to Houston, TX as well.
“I told people that we all closed for a couple of months last year, how totally. We walked out of those doors and said, “What do we do now? What will happen?’ We have been blessed and fortunate to have our business strong again, ”said Tery Vari, VP of Diamonds Direct.
