Dick’s opens Nation’s first public nation retailer in Pittsburgh
CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA – Pittsburgh-based Dick’s Sporting Goods is opening its first Public Lands store in Cranberry Square this month. The outdoor-focused store will open on September 24th, Dick’s announced on Monday.
Public Lands will stock outdoor and lifestyle apparel, shoes and equipment brands. The store will also support the local outdoor community through conservation initiatives and access and equity measures, with one percent of all Public Lands sales going back into local and national conservation programs.
The 50,000-square-foot store will include a 30-foot rock wall, an in-store equipment repair and rental division, and specialized stores for various outdoor activities such as biking, camping, fishing, paddling, skiing, climbing, running, and hiking.
