The Allegheny County Health Department has closed the Boom Boom Room on East Carson Street over Memorial Day weekend. The Boom Boom Room recently came into the spotlight after a man who later said he was falsely accused of attacking the after-hours club on NFL star Aaron Donald.

The Department of Health says the club worked without a health permit and sold alcohol from an unknown source.
The Ministry of Health cites several other violations as reasons for the closure, including failure to provide plans and replenishment limits, as well as inadequate pest control, cleaning and toilets.
